another market street stamps Challenge
I made this card for a challenge at market street stamps. I also used Emma's stamp set and banner kit. It is simple but I like it.

Baker's twine
I usually never win at blog contests, but I was very lucky recently! I received some blog candy from Annie's Paper Boutique last week. I am so very excited and can't wait to use it! I won one color and she even threw in a bonus! Both colors will come in very handy with the holiday seasons coming up! Thanks so very much!
card Challenge
I made this card to join in Emma's card challenge. I used smiley cards cartridge for the base and 3 birds for the witch. The other little embellishments are either punches or stickers. The sentiment "Boo" is from Emma's stamps and the little broom is from scrappy moms stamps.

Baby shower
I made this card and altered this water bottle for a coworker's baby shower. Which is funny because I was so late getting ready for the shower that I actually got there too late and missed the whole thing!
But anyway, I can't remember all the cartridges I used but I know I used life's a party and Baby Boutique. I used printable vinyl from expressionsvinyl.com which is only around $2 a sheet and it's water resistant! It worked great! I actually ordered some more the next day I like it so much.
One of the stamp sets I used was from crafty sprouts, I forgot to stamp the back of the card before I put pop dots on my images, so the bar code didn't come out just right on the back. Oh well.
Two stamp sets were from Unity stamps. One called Dutch mustard Soup (the tiny tag and sentiment) and another called happy everything. I don't think you can see it that well, but there is a guitar (from the built in cartridge on the E2) sticking out of the baby carriage.
All in all, I was happy with how things turned out.
Blog candy received
I received some awesome blog candy a couple of days ago. I'm so psyched! I love it! Close to my heart stamps is one of my FAVORITE stamp companies! I'm so excited and can't wait to use everything especially the stamp set! How cute! Thank you so very much amo mi cricut! It even came with a handmade card!

My new toy came!!! Too bad it may have to go back :(
My E2 came Monday! I am having some issues with it cutting and the mat hanging up in the back of the machine. I am going to try it a couple more times before I give up and send it back :(
But that didn't stop me! I was not going to make this card, I was supposed to be making a card for a coworker's upcoming baby shower ( I got so frustrated trying to get my E2 to cut that I took a break from fooling with it), but I came across this scrap paper (the one with the trees) and the owl embellishment ($1 michael's kind) and I decided to put this little card together.
This is one of the things I like about making these 3 in cards, everything was from scraps! I actually did not use any cricut cuts for this one, the only dies I used was from Emma's my creative time .
I think it came out cute. I am going to send it to my best friend who I learned has just had her house burglarized.

Card Challenge
Emma at creative time for me is having a card challenge using a font cricut cartridge. I decided to try it. It's funny that the card that I had in mind is nowhere near the card I ended up with. Before I chose a cartridge, I had in mind that I was going to make a fun, cheerful Halloween card. I even pulled out my Halloween sentiments and Emma's banner stamps(I was going to use the banner to spell the word "Boo")! Yet, when I went to cricut.com to figure out which cartridge I was going to use, I looked on the old west cartridge and saw this lantern then completelychanged my mind. Lanterns remind me of spiritual themes (my daddy's a minister, I guess that's why), so I came up with the idea to use that image as a spiritual/inspirational card (that's what I was aiming for anyway).
The little flame is from straight from the nest cartridge and I lucked out because I didn't even have to size it, it automatically came out the perfect size!
I ended up doing two cards because I couldn't figure out if a white mat (my original card) wouldbe better than a gray mat (that card I think of as my masculine card for some reason). But since I was using Emma's 3in card base, I had plenty of scraps left over to make two cards.
I LOVE these stamps! I used 5 different stamp/die sets from Emma and they all can be interchanged! (small talk, fancy frame and die set, build a banner kit, Race for a cure and XL label die)
This is the second card I made. I think I like the original (white mat) better.

I won! I won!
Look what came in the mail! I won these embellishments as blog candy from Laura at Laura's Crafts & More! What sweet blog candy!
Market street stamps Challenge
I made this card for the sketch challenge at Market Street Stamps. I really liked this little worm from April showers cartridge and wanted to do something other than make him a book worm or coming out of an apple. Then I remembered this challenge and this idea came to me. It was cuter in my mind than it is in real life, but I still like how it came out. The log stamp is from MSS and the sentiment I made on my computer says: sending you a "tree-mendous" Thank You. The die and stamp surrounding the sentiment is from Emma.

Impulse buying at HSN
I just did a bad, dumb thing! I have a cricut expression and a cricut imagine but I felt the need to order the new expression 2! I justified it saying to myself that it comes with 2 cartridges u can't get otherwise and that I'll sell my other expression on eBay. I hope I follow through with that because I do not need 3 machines! I know what made me do it, it was the fact that there was only 22 hours left to order it and the 5 flex payments! Man those people are smart! So I am feeling excitement and remorse! Anybody out there with me?

Great deal on Lori's Garden!
Maybe most of you already have this one, but I don't because I couldn't find it on sale. Cricutmachine.com has it on sale right now for $19.99! I just bought it finally! Just thought I would share that.

Challenge card
When I got the sesame street cartridge in the mail a few days ago I saw this little bug and thought how cute he was and wanted to do something with him. When I see the challenge on peachy keen stamps and I immediately thought of this bug. I was originally going to have him sitting on the beach but then I saw that leaf and thought that a tiny bug might see a leaf floating on the water as a raft. The sentiment from market street stamps (framed perfectly by Emma's die cut and stamp) was just made for that scene (I think so anyway)!

My first Youtube upload
I fiqured out a storage idea for some of my Imagine carts and I thought I might share them so I did a video and uploaded it on Youtube. It took FOREVER! I am now wondering if I don't know some kind of trick to get it to load faster. Anyway, I would love for you guys to check it out and let me know what you think of the idea. Esp. if you have better ideas!

Halloween Card
I made this card to enter into Emma's cricutless challenge and woodwareusa's anything goes challenge. I also plan to send it to Ellen at cardmonkey business to donate to a pediatric hospital. What a great cause!
I like the cricutless challenge because it reminds me of how dependent I get on my cricut. But I like the way this came out even though it was only paper, stickers and punches! Almost everything was from Martha Stewart. The paper (I love double sided paper!) and stickers (some K and Co stickers thrown in) the web punch (I got on clearance last year) the little spider is also a martha stewart punch and I put a couple drops of liquid pearls for eyes. Then the extra googley eyes I got from Joann's. It maybe too much going on but I like it and I hope the child that gets it does too. I plan to try to make one or two more and then send them off.
ps (I got the idea for how to make a card like this from Mary at Cardztv)

Birthday card
I made this birthday card for my brother using the market street stamps challenge as a guide. I like how it came out. I just wish that I could trim down the time it takes me to make these cards. I don't know why but it takes me over an hour to do it. I thought by now, I might start doing better on time. I love watching the pink stamper videos especially how sometimes she just picks items as she goes along! I am always in awe of that.
But, back to my card. I used My Mind's Eye "just dreamy 2" paper for the card base (I love double sided paper, it gives you automatic coordinating paper to use as a mat!), I also used the layout paper that comes in the imagine cartridge for the background mat with the little ice cream cones. I don't normally use those papers because I don't want to use too much ink and I have LOADS of patterned paper. But I couldn't resist because it went just too perfectly with my color and theme. I used the stamps from "ain't no sunshine" for the ice cream and the "sweat". I stamped the images then cut them out, for the sweat, I used the opposite side (of double sided paper) that I stamped. The big smiley face was from peachy keen stamps everyday character face assortment, it was the really big face in the corner. I thought it fit great. I liked the way it came out, although I probably put too many embellishments on it, but I had to have the false teeth in the jar! After I put it all together I stood back from it and decided I should have left out the stamped birthday background. But oh well...

peachy keen stamp challenge
I made this card to enter into Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge. When I saw the sketch they wanted people to follow I thought "that looks like icing on cake". So I hope my interpretation of their sketch is acceptable.
