happy birthday cards

I started making one card (the one with the airplane) for my cousin, but after I put it all together, I realized it looked too much like a child's card. So I started over.

Chill cards

I started making one card for Market Street Stamp's and Emma's challenges, but then I got another idea for a "call me" card for my friend. I am also entering them in My pink stamper's challenge using your favorite things. My new favorite thing is the liquid pearls I used for the sandals, also I love the imaginisce paper I used. For Market Street Stamp's challenge I used the colors cherry blossom, retro blue and snow white and their chillaxin stamps. For Emma's throwback challenge, I used fabulous finds (the paper clip) and life's a beach. I also used Amy Smyth Made it stamps for the sentiments inside the second card.

father's day card and tag

I wasn't sure if I'd ever use tie the knot cartridge except for anniversary or wedding cards, but I used it for the shoes(tying the shoes with twine was challenging) on the card and I liked how it turned out. I used billionaire for the shirt and tie and the paper for the card base was from Tim Holtz. I experimented with embossing the sentiment on the first draft of my tag... it didn't work out ....so I had to redo it. I liked the first tag better... but I made do with this one. I got the whole idea from the close to my heart stamp set.

Challenge card

I really liked this stamp set and couldn't wait to have a reason to use it. So I decided to try my hand at a challenge they (market street stamps) are having.

Birthday Card for my lil Prince

My son's birthday is this month and I made this card to submit to sprout online. I hope they pick his card to read on TV. These are most of his favorite characters. His most favorite is Calliou.
Now all we can do is wait because I won't know if his card got picked until the show airs.

My cousin is a graduate

I guess I can't call him my little cousin anymore, he is now officially an adult! He just graduated high school yesterday and here is the card and bag I made for him. The school colors were gold and blue.
BTW, I really like that JT imagine cartridge, it has alot of stuff for teenagers andesp men.
Ps I am also entering this in the challenge over at Scrapalicious USA. Challenge #3, Graduation

Birthday card and challenge

I made this card for my little cousin whose birthday is next month. I made it this early because of a challenge at my creative time where you have to use doodlecharms and the color blue.
