Birthday Card for my lil Prince

My son's birthday is this month and I made this card to submit to sprout online. I hope they pick his card to read on TV. These are most of his favorite characters. His most favorite is Calliou.
Now all we can do is wait because I won't know if his card got picked until the show airs.

My cousin is a graduate

I guess I can't call him my little cousin anymore, he is now officially an adult! He just graduated high school yesterday and here is the card and bag I made for him. The school colors were gold and blue.
BTW, I really like that JT imagine cartridge, it has alot of stuff for teenagers andesp men.
Ps I am also entering this in the challenge over at Scrapalicious USA. Challenge #3, Graduation

Birthday card and challenge

I made this card for my little cousin whose birthday is next month. I made it this early because of a challenge at my creative time where you have to use doodlecharms and the color blue.

Mother's day 2001

Here is my mother's day gift to my Mama. It took all day! Partly because I couldn't figure out what to do with the card, probably because I started with the patterned paper instead of an idea. I just LOVED that paper and HAD to use it. So I got the paper cut out and then got stuck. But it also took all day because I kept having to update my gypsy and my imagine (which I did already last month), and then I had a project all mapped out but couldn't use them because my imagine wouldn't recognize my paper lace or cricut essentials cartridge(even after I updated the gypsy twice and my imagine).Ugh! I'll be glad when they finally work out all the kinks! I still like my machine though!
Anyway, although it's a "simple card", it took me all day. But I like how my wrapping paper turned out the best. I would love to hear what you think.

waiting on my new toy

Hey everyone!
I just joined the cricut imagine-nation! I just ordered my machine last night! I am so excited. I couldn't really afford it before, so I had resigned myself to not even thinking about it, I even would refuse to look at other people's blogs about it because it just made me jealous. But then for craft month (so provocraft says, I wonder if they are about to come out with a new version) they discounted the price to $299. I was over the moon! That's still a little pricey for me, but it was finally do-able. I can't wait to receive it!
Now, I'll have to figure out the space problem, my table is not that big and I guess I'll have to get rid of my expression :( Although I can't bring myself to get rid of my baby bug, which is a little backwards huh?? But anyway, onward and upwards right? LOL
Besides, I keep the baby bug packed up in its little carring bag for the next crop party (which I've only been to one, but a girl can dream huh?), but that's my excuse for keeping my baby bug, and I know it's just my imagination, but I could swear that it cuts better than my expression, less errors.
Anyway...I'm so excited and I just can't hide it...LOL! By the way... could someone send me a link of someone doing a video on how to use the snapshot cartridges? Thanks

Hi Everyone,
I haven't posted anything since Oct 2010, I quess I fell off the blogger wagon :) I was half afraid my password wouldn't work or something. But anyway, I've been experimenting with some Tim Holtz grunge like stuff. It's probably not dark or goth enough to truely be called grunge. I like it but I would love some feedback. Anybody still out there? LOL
